This Easy Granola Recipe has only 6 ingredients and takes 20 minutes to make. Perfect for smoothie bowls, fruit parfait, or as a healthy snack. This granola is great over our Açai Papaya Boat, and our Chocolate Peanut Butter Nice Cream.
Easy Granola Recipe rundown:

Rolled Oats: Rolled oats are the base of this recipe. Their texture is soft and firm and we love the surface area of rolled oats compared to quick oats. Feel free to experiment with any oats you have on hand but we recommend rolled oats. In addition, rolled oats are one of the healthiest grains on the plant. This gluten free grain is rich in fiber and carbs while also containing a higher protein to fat ratio, when compared to other grains. They also contain antioxidants that help lower blood pressure. Oats are also known to be very filling and help you feel fuller for longer often leading, in some cases, to weight loss.
Coconut Oil: The coconut oil is responsible for the browning and hardening of the baked granola. If you’re looking for an oil free recipe, add aquafaba as a substitution for the coconut oil.
Pure Maple Syrup: Maple syrup is our main sweetener of choice. Agave could be used as a substitution.
Salt: We like to use himalayan pink salt but feel free to use whatever salt you have at home. Keep in mind that different salts have different levels of saltiness to them.
Walnuts: Walnuts are really such a classic addition to granola. Feel free to substitute the walnuts for any other nuts like pecans, almonds, or even macadamia nuts.
Cinnamon: We love adding spices to everything. Cinnamon really brings another dimension of sweet and spicy to the granola. Cinnamon is one of our favorite spices. Plus it is loaded with antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties.
Brown Sugar: For this recipe we opted to use brown sugar simply because it is the traditional way of making granola.
